ABOUT ME

I have owned dogs since 1979, all of my adult life. I was never allowed a dog as a child, and knew as soon as I was able to leave home that
I would get my first dog. I got into serious dog training in 1989. It all started with Agility and some competitive Obedience. I soon found that Agility
was my main love & the sport of Agility has since taken over my life.

I was Club Secretary for Nottingham Agility Training Club for several years and then I set up North Derbyshire Dog Agility Club in 1999 - this Club is now
a Kennel Club Registered Club. I have taught the Kennel Club Good Citizens Awards as well as judged it and I regularly judge at Kennel Club Shows.
I am an Official Kennel Club Dog Agility Measurer as well as a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer

I currently own 8 dogs, having just lost my old 2 old girl's in 2008 & 2009. Ember a German Shepherd x Doberman and Jessie a rescue German Shepherd.
Both lived to the very grand old age of 14 1/2 years. So my gang currently consists of Mitch a crossbreed, 4 Border Collies and 3 Australian Kelpies.
Three of my current dogs are rescues of which one has had 4 homes before coming to us at the young age of 1 year.
